Joseph A. White is a trial lawyer who practices principally in the areas of business and commercial litigation, breach of contract, employment litigation and personal injury. Mr. White has been recognized multiple times as a "Georgia Super Lawyer-Rising Star" and has also been named a member of Georgia’s Legal Elite" by Georgia Trend Magazine.
Mr. White joined Fried & Bonder in February 2006 after spending the previous four years in the litigation group at one of Atlanta’s largest law firms. There, Mr. White defended companies in the automotive, banking, beverage and insurance industries in complex commercial litigation, class actions and employment litigation in both state and federal court. Examples of representative cases on which Mr. White worked include the following: Beckham v. Early Bankshares, Inc., 2006 WL 826710 (M.D. Ga. March 29, 2006) (summary judgment granted for Mr. White’s client in race discrimination and retaliation case); Bogard v. Interstate Assurance Co., 263 Ga. App. 767 (2003) (dismissal granted to Mr. White’s client in class action involving insurance premiums); Isert v. Ford Motor Company, 2003 WL 21499962 (W.D. Ky. June 26, 2003) (summary judgment granted to Mr. White’s client in disability discrimination case); RW Holdco v. Johnson, 267 Ga. App. 859 (2004) (summary judgment granted to Mr. White’s client in accounting malpractice case).
Mr. White graduated with honors from Tulane Law School in 2001, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and also served as managing editor of the Tulane Law Review. Mr. White is a native of Atlanta and attended college at Emory University where he studied philosophy and political science.
